test two
Eighty-nine years ago today, Frederick W. Gleim opened the doors to his jewelry store in Palo Alto. Yes, it was April Fool's Day, in the midst of the Depression. And that first day he didn't take in a dime.
All these years later, here we are with another unprecedented challenge facing our country and our community. The uncertainty we are all feeling is perhaps the most difficult. The only certainty we can have is that we will all work together, as that country and community, to get through this, just the way we managed to endure all those decades ago.

The most rewarding thing about our business over the years has been the support of our community and our opportunity to take part in so many important family celebrations. We have been part of your weddings, your engagements, your graduations, and your "just because I love you" occasions for many years.

As we make our way together through this new reality, we look forward to the time when we can once again welcome you into our stores.
In the meantime, we are still here for you. Reach out via phone, email, text, or social media to inquire about services, pose your jewelry questions, plan for a future project, share your favorite jewelry stories, or simply to say hello.

And if you need a jewelry fix, you can always peruse our estate jewelry at our online store.
We miss seeing you in person! But until then, please enjoy this newsletter with some pictures from our past. And remember, while much of life is on hold,
love is never on hold.

All my best wishes, Georgie
