The beautifully-crafted crown-style setting has twelve tiny rose cut diamonds all around the base. In the center is an Old European Cut diamond which is estimated to weigh 2.62 carats. Typical of that period, it has a fair amount of body color and inclusions, but it is a charming and unique ring. This was originally a gentleman’s tie pin, which was remodeled into a ring.
