Jean-Francois Albert At the age of 15, Jean-Francois Albert began a jewelry apprenticeship in his home town of Lausanne , Switzerland . After four years of learning the trade, he won his first job working in Geneva for Piaget, where he perfected his designing and bench skills. His talent in jewelry design is recognized throughout the industry. He has been awarded the prestigious DeBeers Diamonds Today Award four times, and is a three-time winner of the American Gem Trade Association's Spectrum Design Competition. Albert has a well-deserved reputation as a master craftsman and classic designer.
